NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) shows good mechanical properties.
The operating temperatures range between -30° C and +100° C (for a short period of time up to +120° C), depending on medium.
NBR is mostly used with mineral based oils and greases.
NBR is not suitable for ozone, ketones, esters, aldehydes, chlorinated and aromatic hydrocarbons.

EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Rubber) shows good heat, ozone and aging resistance.
In addition it also exhibits high levels of elasticity, good low temperature behaviour as well as good insulating properties.
The operating temperatures of applications for EPDM range between -55° C and +150° C (for a short period of time up to +175° C).
EPDM can often be found in applications with brake fluids (based on glycol) and hot water but also with alcohols, animal and vegetable oils and oxidizing chemicals.
FDA compliant food grade compound as a standard.

FFKM Kalrez 0040 (Perfluoro Rubber) Perfluoroelastomer shows a broad chemical resistance similar to PTFE as well as good heat resistance.
It shows low swelling with almost all media.
The operating temperatures range is between -40° C and +220° C.
Applications for FFKM can be mostly found in the chemical and process industries.

FFKM Chemraz 505 (Perfluoro Rubber) Perfluoroelastomers shows a broad chemical resistance similar to PTFE as well as good heat resistance.
It shows low swelling with almost all media.
The operating temperatures range is between -25° C and +230° C.
Applications for FFKM can be mostly found in the chemical and process industries.

Like NBR, but low temperature suitable down to -45° C.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber).
HNBR shows good mechanical properties.
The operating temperature of HNBR ranges between -30° C and +140° C (for a short period of time up to +160° C), depending on medium.
Suitable for mineral oils and greases, transmission fluids, refrigerants, diluted acids, hydraulic fluids, silicone oils, vegetable and animal fats and oils, water and steam.
